Who’s MIMIR?
In Norse mythology, Mimir is one of the wisest beings in all the nine realms. Older than the gods themselves, he is the guardian of the Well of Wisdom, said to hold the accumulated knowledge of all ages. The gods sought Mimir as a counselor when they needed answers.
Inspired by that legacy.
Mimir the podcast is the place where curious founders come to hear knowledge as shared by those who also live the early-stage experience.
On Substack, The Well takes its name from the same mythology. What comes out of the podcast conversations deepens in The Well.
Mimir’s name translates from Old Norse as "The Rememberer." Most of the existing founder stories erase the early stage experiences. Mimir remembers and celebrates them, to keep that knowledge accessible.

For the past three years I've been asking founders what rapid growth costs, what almost broke them, what they know now that nobody told them then. That’s grown into a top 5% globally ranked podcast with over 100 episodes! Then it grew into The Well, where I write weekly essays on everything that doesn’t fit in the podcast.
And then, of course, all of that made me want to build too! I'm now the founder of my own beauty brand, Kelley. After a hundred episodes of asking founders to be honest about their experience, it's my turn now. So you can learn more about my journey on all the channels! I'm also a twice-published author, so I truly love telling stories.
